Whether you enjoy and active lifestyle or just want to relax on a sunny day, there is no limit to what you can do at, or on, White Rock Lake. The lake is one of the most popular spots in Dallas for runners, walkers and cyclists to come out and utilize the incredible 9.X mile loop that runs all the way around the lake without any challenging intersections, curbs, stairs or obstructions. Boaters enjoys sailing, rowing, and paddling from the wide open spaces on the lake to the tucked away corners and creeks. Naturalists enjoy walking, hiking, birding, and just taking in the natural wonder that is White Rock Lake. With over 100 species of grasses and plants, and hundreds of species of birds, as well as mammals, reptiles and fish, we’re a naturalists playground right in the middle of Dallas! Got a furry friend in tow - stop by the dog park and let them run free and splash in a protected cove. But don’t be afraid to slow down and take it all in - with dozens of picnic areas, event spaces, and wide open green spaces, there is always a place to host a picnic, throw a birthday party, or just hang up a hammock and relax. Stop by the Bath House Cultural Center to take in an art show, or head to the Winfrey Point Baseball Fields to take in a game.
